A recent leak suggests that Fortnite and Capcom are getting ready to collaborate once more to introduce Resident Evil skins to Battle Royale. The time was right to revisit the legendary survival horror series with the release of the Resident Evil 4 remake in late March. Past collaborations between Capcom and Fortnite have also been incredibly successful, as evidenced by the numerous Street Fighter skins and even a previous Resident Evil cooperation. Watch out for the next Fortnite/Resident Evil collaboration. In the game, players can stock up on Fortnite V-BUCKS.
As mentioned, this won't be the first Resident Evil collaboration to come to Fortnite. All the way back in October 2021, Capcom introduced two Resident Evil skins to Fortnite. The two skins include Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, each with a different style from a different game. Oddly, the release of the skin didn't coincide with any of the game's releases. Resident Evil Village launched earlier that year. Still, Resident Evil fans are very grateful.
As popular as Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine are, they aren't the only beloved characters in the Resident Evil franchise. The latest Fortnite leak reveals that Capcom will be bringing Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield to the upcoming battle royale. While each character's outfit has yet to be confirmed, fans should expect at least two different styles for each character. No release date was announced, but leaks suggest the skins will arrive in Chapter 4 Season 2, which begins in early March.
To be clear, this collaboration is not a direct tie-in to Resident Evil 4. Like the first collaboration between Resident Evil and Fortnite, it's more of a generic collaboration. That being said, since Resident Evil 4 appears to launch around the same time, it's likely that it was meant for cross-promotion. The Leon Kennedy Resident Evil 4 style is what most fans will at least look forward to.
While the choice of skins for this round of Resident Evil 4 Fortnite might be a bit controversial, few would argue that Leon and Claire weren't the right choices. Leon Kennedy has long been one of the most popular Resident Evil characters in the franchise. Claire is certainly one of the most popular women in Resident Evil after Jill, although Mrs. Dimitrescu may be more popular now.
In the future, Capcom may think about releasing additional possibilities as Fortnite skins. It seems certain that a Wesker skin will appear, possibly with Mrs. Dimitrescu. Further excellent options include Rebecca Chambers, Ada Wong, HUNK, and Ethan Winters. Fans of Resident Evil can anticipate Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield's arrival in Fortnite soon for the time being. You may get more gaming guides at heckofadesign.com.
