The World of Warcraft developers have prohibited an absurd amount of death knights as it continues to implement several modifications based on player feedback. Blizzard's most recent round of bans includes a slew of unique MMO hero classes in an effort to combat the ongoing WoW bot problem that has alarmed the community. Throughout the game, players can acquire enough WoW Dragonflight Gold.
When World of Warcraft entered the Wrath of the Lich King Classic era, all players could create a death knight character, no matter how far ahead they had advanced in Azeroth. Since death knights start their World of Warcraft journey at level 55 and escape their starting zone at level 58, this class has become a priority for droids and gold farmers. Since many World of Warcraft players have discovered these bots in Classic Era and Burning Crusade era dungeons, Blizzard has taken action to limit future access to death knights.
In a blue post on the official Blizzard forums, Blizzard confirmed that it had banned nearly 120,000 "malicious" accounts that abused the death knight's abilities to gain late-game resources with little or no gameplay required. While most of these accounts were accused of being bots, some violated other aspects of the game's ecosystem, with most of the issues appearing to be related to the death knight class. Based on these worrying stats, Blizzard reactivated the prerequisite for creating a World of Warcraft death knight, requiring players to reach level 55 with another character before unlocking the hero class.

Although Blizzard originally intended for any World of Warcraft Classic player to be able to create death knights when Wrath of the Lich King Classic released, the system has been broken enough to implement the limitations in its original release. The 120,000 banned accounts in the latest WoW Classic purge doesn't include Blizzard's standard practices that would have resulted in thousands of bans on their own, such as chat harassment or other terms of service violations. A large number of accounts banned for abusing death knights to quickly obtain expensive materials and World of Warcraft botting highlighted the damage some players have been able to do on classic servers.
Most of the classic community expressed support for Blizzard's decision given that many players felt that the bot problem in World of Warcraft Classic had gotten out of hand. While it may be harder for some players to find raids in World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade dungeons, the overall benefit should help balance out the in-game economy.
